Job Description

Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of the facility. Monitor operation expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality. Encourage and promote operating in a continuous improvement environment. Remove production constraints; monitor human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals. Monitor the plant manufacturing budget. Ensure Teleflex is positioned at all times as a key preferred supplier within the medical devices space.

Division Information:

The Corporate division is the central operating unit of the company setting strategy and policy and providing business development, finance, human resources, information technology, investor relations and legal support to the businesses. Company headquarters are located just outside of Philadelphia in Wayne, PA.

Position Description:

Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

Prepare, implement and control the annual operating and financial plans to meet product quality and cost objectives, sales forecasts and customer service requirements .

Operate the facility and related functions according to the applicable international standards for the manufacture of medical devices and be in compliance to the policies and the procedures of the company and the government.

Coordinate functional departments to ensure a smooth running operation.

Plan to ensure that the facility, equipment and personnel are able to meet market demands.

Interact and communicate with the various divisions regarding sales forecasts, customer requirements and demand fulfilment.

Develop and maintain strong relationship with customers by providing customer satisfaction through consistent product quality and excellent customer service.

Develop an effective organization structure to meet the needs of the operation and ensure training and people development programs are central to what we do.

Responsible for the development and leadership of a trusting environment that encourages entrepreneurship across all levels making the experience engaging and fun for all employees.

Ensure that activities and business transactions conducted by the employees of the company are according to the Code of Ethics.
