State Services Commission (SPN.TR) was established on August 10, 1959 under Clause 56 of Law for Self-Government of Terengganu (First Chapter) (Amendment) Bill, 1959

1. 1. Under Article 56 (9) Personal Law For State Government (First Chapter) (Amendment) Act of 1956, the Commission is responsible for the appointment, confirmation of service, pension status and disciplinary control of the services under its jurisdiction:.
2. 2. State Services Commission also serves as:
i. Promotion Appeal Board State Civil Service
ii. Disciplinary Appeal Board State Civil Service
iii. Disciplinary Authority of the officer holding or acting in the position of Secretary to the Government and the State Financial Officer.
iv. Authority to dismiss or demote employees in the Senior Management Group and the Professional Management

Applications are invited from qualified people of Terengganu to apply for the following positions: -

1. PENOLONG JURUTERA (AWAM) – J29

Requirements:

• not less than 18 years on the closing date of job;
• diploma in engineering (civil) recognized by the government of institutions of higher learning or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. (Starting salary at grade J29: P1 RM1826.02);
• pass Bahasa Malaysia / Malay language (including oral examination) at the Malaysian Certificate of Education or equivalent qualification recognized by the government.

2. PEGAWAI SYARIAH – LS41

Requirements:

• not less than 18 years on the closing date of job;
• (i) Bachelor degree recognized by the government of Shariah institutions of higher learning or a qualification recognized equivalent; and
• (ii) Advanced Diploma in Law and Administration of Islamic Judiciary recognized by the government from the International Islamic University or equivalent qualification, or
• (iii) the degree of Bachelor of Laws (Shariah), which is recognized by the government from the International Islamic University or equivalent qualification;
• pass Bahasa Malaysia / Malay language (including oral examination) at the Malaysian Certificate of Education or equivalent qualification recognized by the government.
