Lembaga Lada Malaysia or Malaysian Pepper Board (MPB) is an agency under the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities which is entrusted with the task of overseeing the development of the pepper inudstry in Malaysia by promoting activities such as pepper planting, research and developmetn on the value addition of pepper and responsible for setting up the quality and maintaining the standard of Sarawak Pepper. The agency also directly participates in the pepper trade through that comes in the ranges of product such as Steam-treated Pepper, Ground and Cracked pepper and Creamy White Pepper.

Qualified Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above are invited to fill vacancies regular / contract inLembaga Lada Malaysia, Kuching Sarawak as follow:

1. Pegawai Penyelidik Q43/44, Q47/48, Q51/52, Q53/54

How to Apply

a) The applicant shall submit an application to fill MPB 2 (Pin. 1/2008). Application forms can be obtained through any of the following ways;
i) From Malaysia Pepper Board Headquarters, Lot 1115 Main Street, Pending, 93450 Kuching or any Branch Office in Sibu, Sarikei, Sri Aman, Serian, Betong, Bintangor, Miri, Bintulu, Sungai Asap and Johor; or
ii) Downloading from our website at www.mpb.gov.my; or
iii) Sending SMS to 15888 by typing MPB BRGJWTN and send to 15888. Example: MPB BRGJWTN BXYZ@yahoo.com and send to 15888.

b) The application form MPB 2 (Pin. 1/2008) Completed forms must be submitted together with copies of academic certificates, resumes, research / reports / contributions and so on.
i) Write the name of the post applied for on the top left corner of the envelope.
ii) application addressed to:

Peti Surat 1653
93916 Kuching, Sarawak

c) Further information relating to the qualifications and conditions required and the list of tasks for each office can be found on our website at www.mpb.gov.my or at any office of the Malaysian Pepper Board.

d) Date of close advertisement: 26 November 2012 (Monday)

e) Applicants are required to bring along the certificate / original documents together with photostat copies if called for interview.

f) Research Officer elected government to attend the interview must bring along the following documents:
(i) A copy of an updated statement of service
(ii) Annual Performance Evaluation Report for Three (3) Last Year
